So far in 2026, hotels have looked to technology solutions to lighten housekeepers’ workloads and power electricity needs.
Artificial intelligence is playing a more central role in streamlining hotel operations, with nearly all hoteliers using the technology across their operations, per a May survey from Mews. For example, some properties are using AI to power air conditioning and heating systems, while a Florida resort has deployed an AI concierge to better support guests’ needs and capture more bookings.
